I've been a fan of Central Florida Gardener for years, but only found this because some of your visitors clicked through the The Consummate Gardener and found me! Thanks for reading my blog, and now, since I have not much to do tonight, I'm going to settle in and read some more on yours.

Happy Gardening!
DebSimply Debhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10362296882291639739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18126294.post-87589173396683657792016-10-14T17:12:54.223-07:002016-10-14T17:12:54.223-07:00I'm so glad you didn't get too much damage... I'm so glad you didn't get too much damage. It is so hard to look out after a storm and see your usual perky plants battered and lying flat. I had to laugh at your garden "doo dads" - my brother had a turtle once named Doodad - reading that just brought a smile to my face. I'm happy for the less humidity as well and we're even getting a breeze or two! Enjoy the weekend!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13390897375295135939noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18126294.post-73461347809634819162016-10-12T12:15:49.174-07:002016-10-12T12:15:49.174-07:00Susan I am happy to see that your garden came thro...Susan I am happy to see that your garden came through in good shape from Matthew and yes the cooler weather is a welcome relief.Rusty in Miamihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17269773686173984184noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18126294.post-34115524275501389972016-10-12T03:23:26.349-07:002016-10-12T03:23:26.349-07:00Dear Susan ~ It looks like Matthew was a bit stron...Dear Susan ~ It looks like Matthew was a bit stronger where you are than it was for we down south here. I am glad you had no real damages, except for the loss of power for 33 hours.

It is a tad cooler with less humidity down here as well and I am thankful for that too.

Happy autumn ~ FlowerLadyFlowerLady Lorrainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17678852154334714784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-18126294.post-76439472034021570212016-10-11T19:13:38.860-07:002016-10-11T19:13:38.860-07:00Gosh Susan. your garden looked just like mine. So glad that Matthew did no more harm than he did in your garden, but yikes, no power for 33 hrs.

On the bright side, you're so right about the weather now...just lovely. _JaniceJanicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14873027334652949566noreply@blogger.com
