Welcome to my zone 9 garden. My roots are deeply planted in the sandy soil of sub-tropical central Florida, where the summers are long and hot, but the rest of the year is paradise!
Your in Florida and you must be further south because your little pack of seeds sure bloomed fast. I have had such cold weather here in the Tampa area and my seeds and new plantings may freeze tonight. I did cover them all a while ago. Wish me luck. You spoke of my sloping yard.. it really is a pain. The rainy season just washes all the soil down into the creek and each year I must replace most of it.. but I love the yard. Thanks so much for your visit and sweet comments. Happy Easter Sandy
What pretty colors! I always feel so proud when I grow plants from seed. It makes me feel like a "real" gardener. Your pansies were certainly a success!
I'm in the state of "Seeing Red" these days! Every window I look out of I "See Red" and it's wonderful!! ...

Welcome to Ma Petit Jardin ~
"My little garden" is a mere 1/8 of an acre of garden space. It was chosen with the intention to simplify and create my own "little" piece of paradise.
Don't let its diminutive size fool you. My plans for this "petit" space include a haven for a variety of wildlife, a kitchen garden, and of course, plenty of bold Florida foliage and cottage flowers.
This won't be "gardening as usual." It's going to take a little creativity and "outside of the box" thinking, and I'm definitely up for that.

Oh my gosh, I love pansies and those are gorgeous. I always think of pansies as 'happy' flowers. I'll have to try growing them from seed next fall.
Enjoy your lovelies.

Oh I love pansies but it never gets cold enough here to grow them. You got some lovely varieties there.
